EDM can't afford that but maybe another team that needs a goalie would be willing to weaponize cap space in that way.

Very top heavy lineup, wont be much scoring coming from the bottom 6. Then if there are any injuries to the top 6 they will be in trouble

Jets and Rangers fans have been fighting about his value for about 6 months, and the offer you presented has been rejected by Jets fans numerous times.

giving up 2 (potentially 3) cost controlled roster players for a guy we won't re-sign in 2 years. There are better choices out there.
