Makar is the best players in the league, defenseman are so underrated but that Kid is the real deal. Could offer Matthews, Marner that Sakic would still reject

It would probably take Marner, Sandin, and a 1st to get him. He's so un-tradable right now, even if we offered Matthews and a 1st they'd still decline I think

Makar is a top 5 player in the NHL. So is Matthews. He would need to ve in the trade IMO.

Makar is 5 more years at 9m as one of the best Dmen in the league, a generational talent. Matthews makes 11.6m and is only signed for 2 years.

Makar starts with Matthews.
Even then Colorado declines fast.
He is a generational talent on defense and untouchable as they come.
