I feel like thats gotta be Hyperbole right?

The one real weakness with this team is Goaltending which was already piss poor last year.

Connolly being an expiring deal means he can be dealt at the deadline to upgrade any position we need to. (Similar to Ritchie)

Foegele drives play well, plays a psychical game

Cousins drives play well, albeit in a depth role

Borgstrom is Kampf 2.0, all defense zero offense.

Adding Miller as a 7th D would be nice as well.

I like the try but I don't think Hawks would want to take on the cap of ~1m this year and 3.8m next to move up 13 places in this draft. I could be wrong but its not it for me.

Yeah that's fair, but I do feel like it addresses multiple needs for both teams.

The Hawks need a goalie and to be able to hit the cap floor if they dump guys and go full rebuild.

The Leafs need bottom 6 scoring and can move off of Connolly at the deadline. Borgstrom reminds me a little of Kampf, could be useful if Kase ends up walking.

Would need an improvement on Villaneuve as the prospect if the issue was pressed. Borgy still can play a good role in that bottom 6 and is good defensively. Who knows what he could be with LR. A fresh chance could be just what he needs, he did well in NCAA and Liiga but has yet to really show he can make it in the big league.

Maybe a guy like Abramov? He put up about a half point per game in his rookie season in the AHL, he can play LW and C. He's a bit of a tweener in the sense that he's not a sure fire B level prospect but he's above a C level guy for me personally. Borgstrom has always intrigued me so I get the hesitancy to trade him, just figured I'd try my luck by putting him into the trade.
