I love Miller, but thats probably giving too much for him. He's extremely good value for next year. But his extension is going to be tough for any team to take on, especailly Toronto. I'd say thats probably giving up 1 piece too many for him.

Gotta look at Kadri trade in hindsight. He had gotten suspended twice in a row in the playoffs which was a huge factor in the leafs losing in 7 against the bruins. They got Barrie who had a hell of a season as well a young Kerfoot for someone who would've stayed their 3C. The trade looks bad now but at the time it somewhat made sense. People like to clown on dubas but compared to some of the gms in the league, dubas is overall a pretty good gm.

Quite frankly It's more so the leafs don't have that many attractive pieces to the Canucks In a Miller deal, Pittsburgh for example can offer us a nhl regular young top 4 RHD which is alot more appealing because it fits our needs better
