Proud to present my fifth and final pre-draft ranking and mock draft for the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. This is one of the tighest drafts in years - I see there being lots of players who might surprise people by jumping into the first round. #NHLDraft pic.twitter.com/QvtCEd4ebN

By request, Simon Nemec and Victor Hedman side by side. There's only been 4 cases where a dman has had such a high equivalency in their DY in a pro Euro league. Hedman, Dahlin, Clarke and Nemec. pic.twitter.com/WQJ5AxkzwD

Shane Wright missed ~18 months of hockey with Covid and it set him back a bit. Profiles really well in the model still but without Covid Wright likely profiles like Stamkos. I still had Wright at #1. I think he's going to still be a hell of an NHLer (maybe not generational). pic.twitter.com/yb86lR7UFI

To all the guys leaving the draft or sitting at home undrafted: put your head down and go to work. All you need is your own belief in yourself to make something special happen.

One interesting name on the Sharks camp invite list ... T.J. Hughes, who led the AJHL w/66 goals in 60 games + is headed to Michigan. Wolverines have 5 NHL picks plus 2023 stud Adam Fantilli coming to Ann Arbor next year ... and another Hughes (no relation, that I see) as well.
