What happened to David Farrance? I thought he suppose to be good and he's on a AHL deal right now

I don't know if anyone's posted about this, and I haven't been around CF in a while, but I wanted to shine the spotlight on a guy who seemingly came out of nowhere this season

Juuso Parssinen was drafted 210th overall by Nashville in 2019, and they let him develop in Finland for 3 years before bringing him over and calling him up, and he has 18 points in 29 games.

bit late but last night Carter Savoie had a Hat Trick and him and Bourgault where on a line and seemed to have lots of chemistry, Savoie is also the first condors rookie to have a hatty since Mcleod

Bob’s lists are usually pretty spot on with how current NHL scouting departments see the draft unfolding.

Could be some serious talent falling into the 2nd rounds

I'd love to see Montreal get 5 or 6 of the top 64 in this year's draft. Currently have 3.

Who do you think is the most underrated player in this upcoming draft class? I haven't heard that many people talking about Gabe Perrault, and he's been really good this year in the USHL.

He's at 81 points in 33 games... a whopping 2.45 points per game
Currently, he's on pace for 167 points over a full season... but he missed 6(?) games because of the WJC, which brings that total down to 152, which is still insane
He's also on pace for 80 GOALS over a full season, with 1.18 goals per game, but because of the WJC, his current pace will get him to 73
He's also +26 on a terrible Pats team

This dude isn't comparing to Crosby/McDavid, he's comparing to Wayne ****ing Gretzky. It's absolutely insane what he's doing right now.

SHARKIE'S THOUGHTS ON THE PROSPECT GAME:

Even though the game really isn't important, I really got to take a look at some of these prospects to get a good opinion on them. Here are a few that are worth talking about.

1. Luca Pinelli. I had heard of him before the game, but thought that he would be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Now, and I don't know if I'm overreacting, but he so played great today, that I might put him late in the 1st round! He created a bunch of great scoring chances in the first 2 periods, and even got a goal in the 3rd! I also liked the performance of Carson Rehkopf, but not as much as I did for Pinelli.

2. Riley Heidt and Koehn Ziemmer: These players are linemates in Prince George, but for some reason, they are opponents in this game. My opinions are very different on these players. Heidt played amazingly, hitting the post a few times, and getting robbed of a Michigan goal. He also got an assist. Ziemmer, on the other hand, was pretty much invisible. He did nothing, even though his team won. This leads me to believe that Heidt is the reason Ziemmer is have this good of a season in the WHL, so I think that makes Ziemmer drop a lot in my 2023 Draft Rankings.

3. Colby Barlow. This game really showed me how good this guy really is. He played well for the whole game, especially in the first period, where he scored and had a few other great scoring chances. After this game, I might put him over Yager in my next 2023 Draft Ranking. Probably not though, since Centers tend to be more valuable than Wingers.

4. Connor Bedard. No points, six shots, and a -2. WORST PLAYER I'VE EVER SEEN. Just kidding. He didn't play that well, but I'm still absolutely sold on him for the #1 pick.

Why isn't anyone talking about Ryan McAllister? He had 139 Points in 60 Games last year in the AJHL and is currently leading the NCAA in points this year. Undrafted 21 YO.. I'm surprised he isn't getting more buzz aka "The Vesey Sweepstakes"

Cause goalies are Voodoo. I think it's 100% waste of a draft pick to take a goalie in the first 2 rounds.
