Kassian is a cap dump it would take the 1st alone to move him, So it's basically Jesse Puljujarvi for John Gibson @ $1,600,000 retain. Yeah you're living in a fantasy world.

You both are dreaming suggesting it would require a first to move Kass.... Overpaid but still an nhl caliber player. Let's say he makes double what he should that's 1.6 dead money for two years does that justify asking for a first round pick? Not even close.

As for the trade I personally don't like the idea of being married to any goalie brought in. I'd like a short term 1 or 2 year deal to at least get a better clearer picture of skinner. Talbot maybe.
Barrie for soucy trade I think should be careful. Yes save cap but moving a right shot for left shot makes 11-7 much more difficult. So that's one regularly used tool out of the freshly signed coaches play book.

Start with Holloway LMAO. Look at Gibson's numbers and GSAX...they're terrible. There's gonna be a GM that massively overpays for Gibson but he is nowhere near worth a prospect like Holloway++.

well look at it this way. You are a goalie away from making a cup. You are trading with a division rival, and you are trying to pry a guy away from a team that doesn't neccessarily want to trade him so whether he's worth it or not you can do it or go home. Anaheim isn't losing sleep over it. Tough luck find someone else if you don't want to pay.
