Why would LA do that? They don't want Pearson back, not to mention the valuation is off

That's an overpayment on the Pittsburgh trade. Garland should be able to fetch Marino + Kapanen by himself

He absolutely is. He's a 7/8 defenceman making over 2 million. When Schenn can make you look bad, you just aren't an NHL defenceman

You haven't even watched Poolman play, who are you to call him a 7/8 defenseman. For all you know, he could be a top 4 defenseman who is simply a late bloomer. Geezus christ, how ignorant

Schenn was also a legit top 4 defenseman for the Canucks this past season. He wasn't thrust into that role out of necessity, he rightfully earned it
