    Dubois certainly isn't signing that extension and the Jets definitely aren't trading him for almost nothing.

    Kakko, lafreniere, Schneider, rangers 2023 first rounder. Pick at least two if Lafreniere isn’t involved it takes the other three IMHO.

    Jets decline.

    Schneider/Chytil/2nd for a re-upped Dubois is what I could reasonably see as acceptable. NY says no cause Schneider

    How is this even cap compliant? 20 man roster. Doubt if Nemeth waives or Arizona or any cap rich team. Rangers will have bonus carryover.

    With Fox and Trouba as the 1 + 2 RHD for 4 years, I can see Rangers trading Schneider for a 2C in Dubois. Finding a 3rd RHD is much easier than filling the 2C. Sure the Rangers could resign either Strome or Copp but Dubois is the player you want.
