I like this roster and especially the idea of acquiring Pettersson for a 3rd -- I think he and Holl could be a very good buy low yet high reward pairing. I think you're overpaying Strome -- 4 yrs for 4.5mil gets it done, I think (Sharks shouldn't go for anything more than that) -- but I like the general idea of signing him since Sharks need an offensive middle-6 right-handed wing who could also play center. Would also roll with these forward line combos instead:

Meier - Hertl - Barabanov
Eklund - Couture - Strome
Dahlen - Bordeleau - Labanc
Balcers - Chmelevski - Gregor

Good stuff! Icing on the cake would be to offload Labanc's contract and sign Marchment with the cap space.

I gotta say I really like the direction you've taken this team, if I were to counter with anything as a Leafs fan, I'd ask for Holl + 3rd for Bonino + Riemer

agree i love that2nd pairing potential, would deal Labanc for Donskoi, free’s up 800k this year and 4.7 mil next year. buy out Vlasic as Knyzhov is a better D now and going forward. and grab Marchment to pair with Bordeleau.

that could work but the idea of Bonino as a 4th line shut down line that kicks in a few goals is a plus for us, and i love his leadership as well. but with Reedy Chmlevski and Weatherby we are looking set at 4C even without Bonino.

I like this lineup and would be happy with this! the plus is we’ve kept all our picks so we can continue to build our prospect pool.

Giving Knyzhov the start I'm AHL to get his game back after a year+ off.
Buy out Vlasic next summer to free up more space for Meier (although that Fiala contract helps us I think).

I'm good with keeping LaBanc this season, with good linemates he will most likely rebound and be a 40-50pt player again, let him run PP2

Also good with that deal to be honest, didn't wanna send Bonino to Leafs because he makes $2.05M

This is pretty good, with Strome, I agree that I would like him on Line 2, as he is a little bigger then Lebanc. Then Bords C 3 with Lebanc RW 3. Also would like to see Megna, than Vlasic.

This kind of deal would be somewhat of a last resort move by TOR to get a goaltender.

If it gets to that point, I've got no issues with this deal.

Works for me. This ACGM with Holl... isn't that bad? And I'd prefer a winger like Marchment or Palat given the lack of depth in scoring wingers, but Strome wouldn't be that bad of a pick up especially if Bordeleau is sent to the AHL to develop his game further. Only change I'd make is to swap Megna with Vlasic in the starting lineup but good job all in all!

I like Reedy on 4th Line RW or C if need be.

I was looking at Strome's stats, they were impressive & he's about Hertl's age, I think his contract is going to start at $7 mill per.
