What I would do attempt 2

Created by: TMLBRIAN
Team: 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 29, 2022
Published: Jun. 29, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Unload Miller and Horvat for a lot of futures

Sign a number 2 centre (doesn't need to be Kadri) and a defensive dman.

Let all the young guys fight for their spots to see who deserves the top minutes.

They will be set up nicely for the long run.

Thoughts?

My last trade with New York had Kakko and Schneider and a 1st and was told they are both untouchable. This one is lundqvist, kratsov, 1st + 2nd.

I don’t think the leafs would trade Niemela but for Miller plus those other assets that’s fair value

I think the thought is probably between Niemela and Sandin. If I'm Toronto, I'm saying Niemela because you know what you have in Sandin even though he's blocked on the left side.

Niemela plays right and Sandin is left. I think the thought process is actually between Niemela and Lily since they both play right. And lily is NHL ready, so Leafs keep him.
