As long as Lou is the GM in NYI, I don't see any deals with Toronto. He probably has a grudge with Dubas. Only way is if he's fleecing Toronto.

Like when he traded for Matt Martin immediately after becoming the GM? Never again maybe?

Why would Buffalo give TO a 16 for sandin. They already have dahlin, power,Samuelson, and more LD’s. On top of that he was a 29th so even if his value has increased it’s not for Buffalo

He’s already made 2 trades with Toronto sure minor trades but he’s definitely not holding a grudge and islanders should 100% do that deal

Hey never said he couldn’t turn into it. Really liked him his draft year. Was hoping he’d slide to Buffalo at 32. Instead Buffalo got Samuelsson. My point was he hasn’t increased his value about half a round which you traded for, in fact he hasn’t increased his value at all. On top of that, trading for players rights gives them, what, 2 years of negotiation power? Just not smart business to even give up Fla to first for that. So yeah, I’ll stand by my statement. 4/5 at best that he’s shown, and a LHD to boot. Sorry that I’m not sorry about an accurate representation of the player he is now.
