I don't really mind Carrier but I don't see him being any improvement over Byron half-retained, whose contract expire at the end of the season anyways. Adding a decent young player with upside and three picks seems like a stretch.

I wouldnt give poehling alone for carrier. He is younger and cheaper and carrier isnt better

Chris Driedger is out for the entire season with a torn ACL, So he's not getting traded anytime soon.

Theodore is great and all but the leafs aren't giving up 4 roster players for him. And I don't think they would even entertain Bunting in a deal tbh.
