It makes 0 sense considering every single press conference yzerman said is that he will be adding players who fit the red wings timeline and older players make no sense for the wings at this time. I'm not saying they should sign Killorn to a 5 or 6-year deal but 2 or 3 years is fine. Coming from a Tampa fan, young teams need experienced guys to help them grow. He can be a wing that can play up and down the lineup and provide physical play. He was terrible in the playoffs but he was a 25-goal scorer last year.

You can't have a condition based on a player signing or not signing.
