boeser isnt a value add. he doesnt score enough to make up for his lack of defense.

Necas trade terrible for the Canes. Would be a million times better to force a bridge deal for Necas. I’d even be willing to take my chances of an OS for Necas vs just giving him away for a player who I still consider a magic bean/unknown at the NHL level. We have multiple players in our system who could do what EB would do playing 12 mins on the 3rd pair.

Pass on Necas trade. Need a more proven / impact player coming back or just keep him.

I mentioned in the other post with the same trade, god if the Sens could get Necas for that little a return and he is likely only going to take 6-7 to sign long term, he would be a steal then him, Stuzle and Batherson as a 2nd line for years would be huge.

But true I doubt the price is anywhere near this for him and what it would take to get him is likely too high.

that is absolutely brutal for Necas, saying this as a Sens fan. I like Branny a lot and think he could develop well, especially in a place like Carolina. But Necas has significantly more value than him
