Jets would have to add a pick, devils would still want to pick in first round, jets would want a goalie option daws/blackwood and possibly more. Makes some sense, but would be interesting if devils move 2

I was thinking Blackwood + 2OA for Hellebuyck + 30OA to build around.

I think that Daws is going to be a good tender, little shell shocked last year, getting rushed in because of injuries. Definitely some good starting points for a trade, but this site will shoot it down pretty quick.

It'd be a big risk IMO. Hellebuyck isn't coming off his strongest year and only has 2 years left on his deal. We could be giving you the next Bergeron or Rantanen for a goalie that can walk in 2 years. Fitzgerald has been clear that he wants a guy with team control in any trade for 2OA

Definitely need a goaltender more. There are just a lot more winger options available, so that's what all the Devils ACGM posts are about.

I wouldn't do it from Winnipeg's perspective, but you never know how GM's think.

Because of Helly's age and contract, I would sent the 14th instead of the 30th.
