Ignoring the trades (which is a task in itself), I don't think $8 per is going to get it done for Tkachuk, even at 8 years. He's going to want (and command) $9.5+ IMHO.

Even with all the fantasy island stuff here, that defense still has gaping holes all over it. That's not getting by Edmonton.

These trades wouldn't even fly in EA NHL. In real life, any gm included in these trade proposals would hang up the phone immediately.

Obscure fact FYI: my stepfather (Gene Levitt) was the developer and head writer of Fantasy Island. He was one of the first writers to get long-term residuals included in his contracts and the family got residual payments on Fantasy Island reruns into the twenty-first century.
