Yep, sounds like the current asking price for Debrincat is 3 firsts, + a high-value prospect. Freedman is reporting the Hawks have been presented with a deal that would involve 2 firsts (one of them a "high first") and they turned that deal down.

Maybe, but I don't think it makes sense at that price, regardless of the team. Wood is worth basically nothing imo. What he brings is not hard to find, and he's coming off a lost season to injury. He might fetch a return, but I don't see why a team would give more than a late round pick at most.

Zacha is fine, but I think Devils fans tend to overstate his actual on ice value and how much potential he might have left to show. He's a C who aspires to one day hit 40 pts and is somewhere from average to outright bad defensively year over year. He's definitely worth something, but personally I wouldn't move a 2nd for him, let alone multiple 2nds +.

While i would be interested in getting a short-term low-money deal to gamble on Zacha playing with Stuztle, he is not worth this kind of deal and Wood should be no where near the Sens line up.
