There's a few winners, but as many losers too. I agree with the DAL fans and think that's the worst proposal. A 25 game sample is small, but I think Nils is going to be a good one. No interest in trading him at this time. In fact, I hope the Rangers play Zach Jones and Nils at 3rd pair LW in 22-23. Competition, let the games begin. I believe the winner will be Nils.

Fair point. The way I’ve seen Jones skate reminds me of Fox tho.

The Dallas/NYR trade was about the depth each team has.

Dallas has a lot of centers on ELC’s/going on ELC’s soon

NYR has a lot of D prospects that will otherwise sit and rot.

To me it’s a win for both sides as both improve an area in their prospect pool

re: patrickcorsello - Your points are well taken. The Blueshirts are set up on defense with a strong young core. In my mind, only one questions remains, Is it Nils, Zach or both. Let them compete in NY and if you decide to to keep only one, well then a trade with the Stars would certainly not be out of the question. Appreciate your comments.

      Detroit declines, player not useful.
