Description
So for the signings, calvin pickard, and hunter miska can both fight for the #3 goalie spot, so whoever is playing best gets that spot, both pretty solid so thats why there signed, and i signed lybushkin, bc he could very solid depth to have on defense also he can be dealt at the deadline since he has a one year contract, lastly he also helps gets the sabers under neath the cap for the season.

Trades
1.
BUF
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
both Puljujarvi and Olofsson have been in rumors of being traded so they both get traded to new teams to see if it can spark something,
EDM
  1. Olofsson, Victor [RFA Rights]
  2. 2022 4th round pick (BUF)
2.
BUF
  1. Bowers, Shane [RFA Rights]
  2. Girard, Samuel
  3. 2023 3rd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Sabers get Samuel Girard ( 2016 2nd round pick )a young defenseman who is a good top 4, only downside he is small so he gets a little intimidated, but they also get Shane Bowers (2017 first round pick ) who with how much young guys in the avs prospect system he probably wont get a shot in the NHL with them so this would give him that shot.
COL
  1. Mittelstadt, Casey ($1,250,000 retained)
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (BUF)
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (VGK)
  4. 2023 5th round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
The avs get a 3rd line center in Casey Mittelstadt who has struggled with the sabers so this would be a fresh start. but they give up 2 2nd round picks, and a 5th round pick. maybe a little of an over pay in draft picks, but the sabers can afford that for a good top 4 prospect.
3.
BUF
  1. van Riemsdyk, James
  2. 2022 3rd round pick (PHI)
  3. 2023 1st round pick (PHI)
  4. 2023 4th round pick (PHI)
PHI
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (PHI)

That’s funny. Girard nets significantly more than a reclamation project and a hodge podge of secondary picks. Easy no.

Olofsson has scored, pretty much every place he's played, as long as he isn't hurt. Throw out the games he played hurt last year and he was pacing for 35 goals. He may get traded, he may end up staying, hopefully if he gets moved it's for something we could really use, like a physical defensive right d. I'm not commenting on value in a jp trade, just pointing out its not like he's been missing a spark. Girard isn't really a guy I would go after, but if the price is that low it would be hard to not take him regardless. Probably gonna be some ava fans coming along to point out the same.

Bowers isn't even in there top 10 prospects is he, rather keep Mitts. I don't think I would do that deal, Girard isn't the right fit.

That part is still way too high. No firsts should be involved in this

Bowers is a bust, you can have him for free. He should be waiver eligible soon.

Girard has significantly more value than just Mittelstadt and some random picks.
