As much as Id like that return for NYR thats too much for them to give up.

The Strom rights are probs worth a late 2nd and the Mrazek cap dump is worth this package put together.

Murphy being sold short here would be detrimental to this franchise.

Ok thank you, I kind of needed to hear this. Really had a hard tome valuing Murphy correctly, and realized the Kane deal may have been a tad excessive. Making some changes

Murph is probably valued at a 2nd + prospect/young NHLer

Changed it. More so did a Murphy for a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Lowered a bit of that Kane trade down too

Im not sure DET is the team for Murph but I do think the NYR move is closer to something they should look at but you will get the Ranger fans on here disagreeing vehemently.

I can't do NY again tbh, too much going on there cap wise. I think Detroit could be a good fit as a lot of their D are walking, and they could use a vet RHD on the squad.

Very refreshing seeing someone with realistic Values on here. But to be fair if there’s a biding war with multiple teams is could be in this range. Doubt it but it’s not out of the question. Can’t wait to see what your rebuild becomes! Dach will be something special I. The future

Wings are not the right team to trade a RHD, they need LHD

Hopefully something similar to how yours is panning out. Find a couple of gems and build from there.

Rangers will be strapped and looking at Dubois (allegedly). If they move for him and have to resign him I can’t see them spending the additional assets for Kane. It’d be too much subtracting off the roster and counterproductive imo. They’d be too top heavy with very little quality depth. I mean Mika, Kreider, Breadman, Kane, Laf and Dubois sounds sick, but the bottom six would likely be awful and extremely hard to fill out with the limited cap space.

Basically a Dubois or Kane situation. Kane at least would subtract from total cap hell the following year. And think of Kane with Panarin again

I have seen some rumours revolving around Hronek potentially on his way out. This frees another RD spot

As good as that would be, finding a long term 2C is far more important in the long run. Kane won’t be playing 6-7 years from now. A center in their early to mid 20s right now will be. Given the lack of depth at that position in the organization, I personally think it’d be smarter to focus efforts on finding that solution given how pivotal a center core is.

Long term dubois contract is roughly 7M. You literally have no cap space moving forward

Then I’d rather not add a 1 year rental in Kane and keep the young players and picks and keep developing till we can get one internally or some other way, no matter how you slice it, I think a 2C is more valuable then a winger even one as good as Kane,

NYR - Let's Take them one at a time Reaves: For those of us Blueshirt diehards that would like to part company with Ryan, he is popular in the locker room. If Drury tossed him Gallant would be apoplectic. After watching Ryan play for a full season, he not a goon, loves to hit anyone who isn't wearing the same jersey he his, will drop the gloves with anyone when called upon (he doesn't go looking for trouble except to come to the defense of his teammates, and his minimial +- negative is offset by his intimidation factor. Ryan will likely be on the NYR Roster for 22-23. Lundqvist: I have a personal Bias on this one. I would like to see Nils and Zach Jones compete for the 3rd par LD spot with Schneider on RD. Both have 20 odd NHL games under their belt. Let them compete. I believe Nils is the stronger of the two. Depending on how Drury proceeds to construct the 22-23 NYR roster. Nils might be available for a swap. Kappo says he want to re-up my estimate: $2.25M for 2 years) but he may go by way of a competing offer sheet he can't refuse. If the Ranger get wind of that, Kappo's available. Assuming both Nils and Kappo are available, most Ranger fans would say you can have one but not both. With Ryan off the table as well it probably doesn't work. Patrick!!!: The #1 draft pick is a given. The problem for the Rangers however is they need CAP relief at 50% in order for a swap to be financially feasible. I'm certain that would be a non-starter for the Hawk nation. But in a perfect world, the proposal as written would be as Aussie_Blackhawk notes a bit too high for the Rangers.
