This is an intriguing offer. It looks pretty fair. 44OA + Texier, I could see KD pulling the trigger on it. Personally I'm torn but its a decent proposal.

I’d rather not trade for McDonagh I feel like that contract isn’t going to get any better then it is now and I’d rather pay Gavrikov that money but I do like the Murphy trade as he is the exact guy we need and Nyquist is probably worth more depending on the cap situation and how he’s playing.

Whats the vibe on Texier? Heading into a rebuild, he would get a good opportunity with us.

He will likely be a good top 6 wing and was starting to breakout last season when he got hurt, I don’t really want to move him but would for the right price because we have too many forwards.

The fans are kind of a mixed bag on him. Some think he's not going to turn into a top 6 guy, some think he has a good shot of getting there. Personally I'm pretty hyped for him to have a great year this year coming up. He showed a real flash of potential last year when he had a stretch of 18 points in 22 games before he broke his finger and the loss of 2 family members had him end his season to grieve. I would be very bummed if he were traded before the season starts and he has a breakout elsewhere.

McDonagh seems like a very unnecessary acquisition that would probably end with the Jackets having to pay more assets to move him at the end of his contract for cap space. Only way I could see it making sense is if Gavrikov demanded a trade this summer creating a need for a new top 4 LD and that scenario seems incredibly unlikely.

From the limited I've seen of him, seems like a Raddysh type prospect that we could work with and give a better opportunity IF a move like this were to occur.

If you want to send Bemstrom instead of Texier, I'd be more willing to do that. I think Tex is going to do good things here and I'm not prepared to lose him that easily.

Also, I want no part of McDonagh. His contract, age, and incorrect position means he'd cripple this team.
