CHI accepts but realistically Kub's rights are prob worth a 3rd.

Too much for Kubalik, as said probably worth a 3rd and I’d rather keep Texier.

Nyquist trade is just a slap in the face as he is worth more then a b level prospect and a cap dump.

I like McDonagh, but I don’t like his contract and I doubt he waive his NTC for Columbus.

Seems like people are not aware of how good Gavrikov is if they're suggesting that McDonagh to Columbus makes sense. Would go hand in hand with people thinking the CBJ were the 6th worst team in the league last year.

I just looked back at Nyquist stats and wow I don't know what I was thinking. my bad I swore he missed like half of this past year I didn't know he played the full 82. I'm going to change that one lol

The year prior he missed the whole season but last season he was pretty good for us. I’d hope for a 2nd from him or a late 1st at the deadline as a high depending on his play.

As much as I like McDonagh, I highly doubt he drops his NTC to come to Columbus. Even then I think the rest of the league treats the McDonagh trade from Tampa as a cap dump and will make them pay out the nose.

The Kings might be a good spot for McDonagh. They need LD dearly, their cap is in great shape, and they're probably getting close to being a contender.

As others have said, Texier>Kubalik. It needs to be a sizeable talent upgrade for us to consider trading a single young winger for another considering the jam.

I would take Pulju for Nyquist for sure, only because Puljujarvi will be with the team longer. It's easy to envision him as a Nichuskin-in-the-rough at the moment and considering his value to that team...

McDonagh's contract is too high and too long despite getting good value for the trade. That would probably set Gavrikov's extension as starting in that area and ideally his contract starts with a 5.

No reason to sign Kulak, just let Peeke and Blanks play, I don't see this roster making the playoffs unless Johnson, Sillinger AND Chinakov light the world on fire.
