Idk about that. Hawks need forward prospects a thousand times more than they need D prospects. Swap brannstrom for another solid forward prospect and it's not terrible.

Chicago absolutely needs D prospects, We have a really bad defense and all our prospects are mid. Chicago needs to target an elite LD or RD prospect. Championship teams are made up of championship defenses.
(I'm a bit biased since I play defense)

Well considering there's no chance they get fair value for seth jones in a trade I'd say they're pretty set on elite RD. Still they atleast have a bunch of D prospects in the system. Yes not elite ones but they have 1 forward prospect that's worth getting excited about. That's it.

Coming from an unbiased forward that had to play defense at my game tonight.

The reported cost for Puljujarvi is a second or a third. If we take Kassian who is on a bad contract. The price to get Puljujarvi RFA Rights and Kassian's poor contract should only be a 3rd round pick
