Perhaps Kassian buyout should be considered, but they’d only do it if they could make use of the cap room, it may be easier to just eat the bad contract right now instead.

Dallas has already replaced Klingberg on the the PP. They really don't need someone like Barrie. Whereas Hakanpaa is a very good value contract

DAL would be looking to add RD, not swap one out for another one- especially not a cost effective one like Jani. They're fine as a landing spot for Barrie but you'd be looking at getting a mid-round pick in return.

Dallas passes.

Necas > Puljujarvi, If Carolina moves Martin Necas it will be for a player far better than jesse Puljujarvi.

You’re not wrong, Necas is better. However both teams are speculated to want to move each player, Carolina has had success with getting good results from Finish players (Aho, Terravainen, Kotkaniemi, Raanta) and perhaps due to this I did read that they may have interest in Puljujarvi. Maybe more assets need to be added to balance that scale against Necas.

They have interest in Pulj but it would be for a 2/3 pick alone. They’re not moving Necas in a deal for Pulj.

Like the others said. Swapping a RHD for a RHD doesn’t ADD a RHD. Hakanpaa is a good value contract I’d rather keep. Wouldn’t give more than a third for Barrie. I don’t want Barrie at all if it’s gonna keep Harley from getting PP time. Cheers

We’ll just offer sheet Puljujarvi at a 2nd round rate instead of trading necas
