take the 2nd and JP out and OTT does it, JP would be bad for OTT.

He's 24 and a pretty strong driver of play offensively and defensively. You don't bring him in as your big forward add, but as a replacement for Connor Brown I think he can scratch the itch. I'd also expect his offensive production to jump next year wherever he ends up.

he is deemed the play killer in the oilers looker room, if McDavid and Drai could not get his production up, no one can, waster of cap and roster spot.

"Puljujarvi is deemed “a play killer” inside the Oilers dressing room, it is believed, where two of the best centremen in the world have not been enough to turn Puljujarvi into a legitimate Top 6 winger in the NHL. The puck dies on his stick in the offensive zone too often to continue to saddle Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl with such a winger on a regular basis."

He's 24. Spent a lot of time with McDavid or Draisaitl as his pivot and produced roughly the same p/gp at 5on5 as Formenton.
And it's not like his PP stats are anything special either. Decent but certainly not enough to get him onto Ottawa's first unit.
I think @sensonfire had it right. The TBL 2nd and Brown should do it - especially if Ottawa is retaining salary, which I don't think is necessary.
