If Kerfoot wants 5 million, that basically ensures that Vancouver won’t extend him. No reason to give up a second round pick for a rental

Cam Fowler and Kevin Shattenkirk are sufficient leaders for the team and mentors for Jamie Drysdale. And Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverberg provide pretty adequate leadership functions for the forward group.
