That’s a pretty solid offer for dubois. Great job. I think the jets pass though for now and still try to convince him to resign, at least for the next year.

Sorry but that doesn't get PLD.

And fat chance of Pierre-Luc Dubois signing for 6 years $42 million when he wants $8,000,000+ long term.

According to Dreger the Jets would only consider moving Dubois for an offer to good to ignore. This isn't anywhere near that level.

As a jets fan I would definitely consider this deal

Hardly a solid offer, that deal is easily beaten by at least 1/2 of the league.

I wouldn't. The Jets aren't in a position to create a massive hole in the top 6 to pad out the bottom 6. Kotkaniemi is bad and has a worse contract.

I can't see any team trading top 6 talent for bottom of the lineup help.

Kotkaniemi is still really solid is definitely a middle 6 player can be a 2nd liner if given the ice time you forget he’s only 21, Scott Morrow is an incredible two way d man in the NCAA and a first is definitely enough for a top tier 2nd liner

People grossly overvalue Jesperi Kotkaniemi's worth, Morrow isn't even the best Canes prospect. Plus a late 1st if you honestly think that's great value for PLD. Then i don't know what to say.

Morrow is decent, but I'm not sold on Kotkaneimi. At 21, Dubois was 5 or 10 times the player Kotkaneimi is, so age isn't much of an excuse considering Dubois just turned 24.

Anyways, they are decent players, but not worth moving Dubois over.

Make a post of what you think will be offered for PLD, its really pretty simple.

From the NYR Kakko+Schneider+NYR 2023 1st round pick would be better than this.

I mean it’s a better offer can’t see NY giving it to them

True, But the same could be true with Carolina, After Don Waddell just extended Jesperi Kotkaniemi for 8 years rather reasonably. He's not getting PLD for cheap probably 7.5 x 8 years at the very least.
