Description
Bruins add some draft capital to hopefully find some steals in the 2nd rd. If their is one some what strong point to Sweeney's drafting the 2nd+3rd rounds are it
-Harrison/ Carlo/ Lohrei/ Lindgren' Studnicka/ Lauko/ Lauzon are all selections that either turned out to be decent to good hockey players or have the potential to become one.

Texier i think would be a very underrated acquistion is speed and skill will be a very solid fit next to hall/pasta or lysell in the future and i think he could turn into a productive 50-60 point 2 way center.

the loss of carlo will be big a rather decent whole to fill but i think boston lacks offence from the defence and klingberg is someone who brings a solid offence and had some of his best years under B's potential new coach jim montgomery. I think Lindholm/Mcavoy/Braun/ Forbort will be able to hold down the fortress well defensively and zboril is good 2 way so having 1 straight OFD shouldn't be a problem.

2 of the big things i want to see Bruins try to include next year is more speed and more youth. Hopefully 1 of Lysell/ Beecher/ Stud can standout for the B's and become a full time roster player that brings good scoring depth.

2022 Draft selections 2 options each pick
- I do think Bs will go pretty center heavy they really need to hit on a steal. Stud/Beecher/ Harrison could turn out to be something but i think we still need to get more depth Tex should be a future 2C but we need another guy or 2 around his caliber.
40OA Option 1: Tristan Luneau( Would need to fall about 10 spots) Option 2 Elias Salomonsson(Projected to go around 40OA)

44OA Option 1: Nathan Gaucher(Would need to fall a few spots) Option 2: Filip Bystedt( could go anywhere in the 2nd rd)

55OA Option 1: Bryce McConnel-Barker (2nd rd pick for sure should fall this far) Option 2: Jack Hughes ( another 2nd rd pick that potentially could fall)

78OA Option 1: Hunter Haight Option 2: Pano Fimis

91OA Option 1: Joshua Neidermayer Option 2: Ryan Greene

For me Bystedt/ BMcB and Haight are musts to try and select. I think all of them have high potentials and could become a solid player. Jack Hughes is also another guy i like, i doubt he will be the biggest point producer but i think he will be a very solid 3rd line defensive specialist maybe becomes a more skilled version of luke glendening

  3. 2023 3rd round pick (DET)
DET
  1. Grzelcyk, Matt
Additional Details:
Leddy was oved twice for a 2nd+ and in my personel opinion Grzelcyk is much better. in terms of offence i think they are about the same i think Leddy has the higher IQ but Grz has the better physical attributes like skating/shot/passing ability. In terms of defence Grz blows leddy out of the water and it isn't even close.

so i dont think the value is far off on this trade

solid 4th line defensive player. good on the draw and a solid PKer.

B's have mulitple young 2 way guys coming up in Stud/Beecher/Mclaughlin who i believe deserve more opportunites in the line-up.

Additional Details:
Columbus's lowest need center depth already have a good C core of Jenner who is a solid 2 way vet, Roslovic who really broke out at the end of the season and Sillinger and Johnson both who very high ceilings and just need more development. Also having 2 top 12 picks in a draft stacked with forwards they are looking pretty good for the future.

Columbus's biggest need. Werenski's RHD partner for the future

Not gonna lie; that is severely tempting for the Jackets. I confess to some concerns about Carlo's durability, and I don't want to trade Tex if we can help it, but that is a very nice fit for us all the same.

I’d say it’s a little much from the jackets, but it’s not too much to complain about.

And I agree he would be a great add as he would fit with Werenski, I’m just not a huge fan of the price.

Why would Detroit give up 3 picks for a guy who would be on our bottom Pairing? Matt Grzelcyk isn't top pairing he wont be on our 2nd pairing. And we already have Jake Walman as our bottom pairing LD. So Detroit declines.

And yeah good luck talking John Klingberg into signing for $7,250,000 x 7 years. When he wants 8 x 8 to remain in Dallas.

Jackets trade is interesting. Other trades you’re over valuing those guys.
