That Washington trade seems far fetched.

      Everything else seems reasonable enough
      Kalopsia liked this.

Pitt probably accepts if we saw someone we really really liked that was still on the board

I really don’t think Hextall is all that intent on moving Marino. The only way it happens is if it’s a Miller trade or we get a deal he can’t pass up on. But the key is, he’s NOT gonna go out of his way to trade Marino under any circumstance. With that being said though, his value is sky high right now.

Why would Wash accept that? Maybe I am misunderstanding, but Pulij is not worth a 1st...

because Pulju is 23, an analytic beast, and at very minimum a good middle 6 winger currently. He is absolutely worth the 20th in a weak draft especially if his contract is only 3x2.8M.

Because of retention, leaving Wash with mid 6 winger, who is 23, for 3x2,8m

I say if Buffalo actually gets Puljujarvi they should just keep him.

I heavily debated keeping Pulju and trading Olofsson, but IMO olofsson is criminally underrated and should get a good return at the TDL and Buffalo just has too many wingers to bring in Pulju

Well if you can get rid of Bjork you have a roster spot for him. And it’s not like Quinn and Peterka can both play every single game, injuries happen and you need people you can bring into the lineup when they do. Realistically you could rotate who sits between Okposo, Girgensons, Peterka, or Quinn. I don’t see Buffalo acquiring Puljujarvi unless a player were going the other way anyway, like Mittelstadt.

Hmmm you might be thinking about last draft, but this year's draft is one of the deepest in years...

His worth is not even close to a 1st. Reports are saying he is worth between a 2nd and a 3rd...He hasn't reached the 20 goal mark in a season. I understand he is 23, but a 1st is a lot to gamble on a player who is a middle 6 guy
