Nashville is a blend of young and old but they are honestly a team that is stuck square in the middle of being not good enough to truly compete but not **** enough to tank for high picks

If they had a superstar Center then maybe that would change but man I remember when that team was scary and drove the Central nuts

I also saw a Nucks fan say that Flyers add (to that).

He just became a prime candidate for one of the worst contracts in the league, should he sign that.

I'd give him $3,5M, tops, and likely not even that.

After two concussions on questionable hits, he's been playing scared and doesn't go into puck battles, lest he catch another elbow in the head. He has world-class speed, an amazing release, good o-zone vision, and enough defensive responsibility to play regular PK minutes. That toolset is incredibly valuable, and hard to find unless you're drafting high.

The Canes may also be wary of trading Necas because of what Elias Lindholm turned into right after he left Carolina, after similar performances in his 22 and 23 year old seasons

On Thursday, the Devils have the chance to be the first team to draft three Jack Hughes's

1977 - Colorado Rockies (became the Devils) drafted Jack Hughes with the 142nd pick
2019 - New Jersey Devils drafted Jack Hughes first overall
2022 - ?? (could go early 2nd round)

i get what you’re saying but it’s been two straight years of brutal underlying numbers, if the canes can get a player like Garland who is on a bargain contract (which the canes like to go after) I think they would make the trade.

Lindholm had better underlying numbers at the time and his play driving numbers aren’t much different in Calgary than in Carolina. He just benefits from playing with world class playmakers in Gaudreau and Tkachuk.

I like the fisherman and the Ducks’s current logo sucks, but it’s a crime that that isn’t still the Sabres logo, it’s the best logo they’ve ever had and it’s not close.

I personally didn't vote Leafs as annoying. They're a misunderstood bunch stuck in purgatory (where they belong Sticking Out Tongue )

This also makes sense, since Leaf fans are basically everywhere. Not to mention we probably have the largest fake/troll accounts that pretend to be Leaf fans taking **** only to get a rise out of other fan bases.

We definitely have a lot of noodles tho, not disagreeing with that. It’s just a large fan base.

Friedman did say it’s not likely he’s traded, tbh I don’t think he’s doing anything wrong here. He’s earned the right to be a regular in the top 4
