The plan for the offseason

Created by: Barryblock
Team: 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 23, 2022
Published: Jul. 1, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
- Trade Miller and one of Garland or Boeser this offseason for picks/prospects/young roster players. Miller and Boeser would hopefully come with extensions to up their value.

- Try to land Hague with some of the picks we got.

- Land Mikheyev. Not spend any big money in FA.

- Get an additional 1st round pick for this year or next year, from either the Miller or Boeser/Garland trade.

- Extend Horvat 8 x 7,000,000

- Try to land whatever assets possible for Pearson, Dickinson, Myers. Retain on Myers if a good deal is available.

(The Philly trade might favor Van too much btw just an example)

That defense is terrible even if the team has Hague. Also, Vegas most likely declines since they've already traded Dadonov, making him easier to sign

Sure giving up a the 5th overall is not in Philly plans ,or Jersey plan to pay for a RFA. when for few dollars get a better UFA. Does Hornqvist's =M NTC include Vancouver?
