Zucker cost too much and would be at best in Calgary's bottom 6. Zero interest

Malkin is getting more than that.

And i don't see Andrew Copp signing to play wing in Pittsburgh, When he wants to play 2C like home in Detroit.

Copp is a wing. Speaking of Wings, Malkin to Detroit, 3 years 8 million a year. I vomited in my mouth typing that.

Detroit says pay me. Almost 4M against the cap for 3 years of a steady but unspectacular D? No thanks. Just offer sheet Sandin at that point and get a higher potential young D who is an inconsistent top 4. Consistency will come with age.

I don't understand your reasoning.

In your next post you're declining a Hronek trade saying that he's going to become a stud and here you're dumping on the best partner that can be found in the entire NHL for Hronek.

Marcus Pettersson is the exact partner Hronek needs to get his game together. Filip has trouble when put under pressure with the puck. Marcus is one of the best puck handlers in the entire NHL and is extremely good under pressure and will give the extra time to Filip that he needs. Better passing and better pass recieving by his partner will lessen the time trouble for Filip and will limit the opportunity for opponents to put pressure on him.

There isn't a single defender in the NHL that will benefit Hronek more than getting Marcus as a partner to offload outlet passes and cut down on situations that forces Filip to wire the puck blindly up the boards or put him in time trouble so that he gives up a giveaway.
