Description

Boeser just got signed to Vancouver, which probably means Miller is on his way out, 35% retained on his contract by Vancouver, I think I should’ve given up a bit more for miller but I liked the return for both sides, we get JT, Vancouver gets a solid defenseman, decent prospect, a first round and 3rd round pick, and a 5th because why not. But if I gave up 2 first rounders I think I would take the 3rd 5th and bankier out of the trade

Vancouver declines. There will be significantly better offers for Miller from other teams. Kulikov is too old and a pending UFA and Bankier I'm not sure will ever play in the NHL. That leaves a 1st, 3rd and 5th for Miller with salary retention, not nearly enough.

YOU might like the return for both sides but surely Vancouver doesn’t. A first round picks and leftovers doesn’t cut it

But you do realize that the Mississippi river actually starts in Minnesota and then makes its way to the Gulf coast, right?

Minnesota wouldn't give up that much for one year of Miller nor would Vancouver receive that little in a JT trade.

Vancouver would definitely ask for a 1st, a 2nd and probably players like Greenway and Addison. Minnesota is in no position to give that kind of value up for one player.
