Arizona and Vancouver pass big time.

John Klingberg sure as hell isn't signing for 7 x 7 in Boston when he wants 8 x 8 to remain in Dallas.

Marchand and McAvoy are out until Mid-December, Major pipedream if you ask me.

John Klingberg could sign that because it's comp to what Lindholm got. Plus he could take a little less to get a cup. It's always funny to me guys saying there is no way X player signs for X amount. Like they know what they want.

Yeah keep telling yourself that, This team is closer to a full fledged rebuild, than winning another cup.

Production wise Lindholm has never ever put up the kind of production that Klingberg has. So why would Klingberg even entertain Lindholm money?

It's not a bad cap it just did not work out in Boston so time to move on but those two leadership and veteran presence help build winning teams.

Any team can find "leadership" that doesn't cost 3.8mil. Sens have no incentive to do the Bruins a favour, they are literally fighting for their playoff spot next year. Doubt any other team is jumping at that deal either.

Splitting hairs, because whether you look at his cap hit or his salary he's not worth either. And they ARE doing the Bruins a favour, because they aren't getting a good player, they're getting a formerly good player. He turns 35 a month into the season, nobody is looking at him expecting him to do anything of note next season.
