Detroit passes, Not trading Sundqvist after just acquiring him, Sorry that's not Yzermans nature. He'll be resigned possibly this coming summer.

Wing and Pen fans already agreed, On Grewe and Detroit's 2022 3rd round pick for Pettersson and Kapanen. In fact it was mostly Pen fans that put it out there.

Man Why are you guys talking about Sundqvist like he’s worth anything in a trade? The Wings would be lucky to get a 4th round pick for him or MAYBE a 3rd at the deadline for him. He’s a 4th liner with average/below average offensive abilities. Not to mention he makes almost $3m a year.

Quit kidding yourselves. He wouldn’t fetch this return, even tho I don’t want either of those players anyhow. But I’d take them for him.

Smart people want to keep POJ. He is now out of waivers, so this is the season to find out if he's a keeper or not. If he is ready, he allows us to move a $4 million LD freeing up $3 million to use towards a much needed 2nd line winger.

Actually it was I who first suggested Grewe as a sweetener. He won't make it here in Detroit but could have a chance elsewhere.

It's not about the trade value of Sunny, it's about what he means to the team. He has been the player that Erne should have been, a 4th line grinder that brings tertiary scoring and some abrasiveness to the team. He's needed and will likely get an extension for a few years.
