Dallas doesn't touch that with a 10 foot pole

That Stars trade is beyond laughable, Stars aren’t trading their elite number 1 centre and franchise goalie for a 1st line winger, a low 1st and Muzzin (who doesn’t have a lot of value). Hintz already has more value than Nylander, after that you have Otter for Muzzin and a 1st? Yeah, that’s very far off of his value.

I wouldn’t even trade both of them combined for Matthews. Never mind this.

That's the worst Stars trade I've seen in a while.

I totally agree that the Dallas trade is laughable, but you follow it up with something even more laughable.

Yes because giving up our franchise goalie and giving his job to a waiver claim to get an upgrade at centre is really smart.

Matthews >>> Hintz, but Hintz and Oettinger > Matthews and Wedgewood.

Wasn’t commenting on the fact whether you are smart or not. Just the fact that you think Toronto would trade the two time Rocket Richard trophy winner to start with. Oh wait…I guess I was commenting.

I never said Toronto would trade Matthews, I just stated that the Stars wouldn’t trade this package for Toronto’s best player (and the best player this year), which would mean they wouldn’t do the original trade since it’s lesser valued.

It’s really not hard to comprehend.

A simple “Dallas declines” would have sufficed then.
