Tampa bays offseason

Description
Allow a guy like barbashev to be able to fill in killorn role next year when he’s ultimately moved. Picks could be change able but i don’t see how people have Tampa getting such a big haul for McDonagh. Yes he’s great but his age, injury’s and contract shoudl weight down the return significantly. Especially in today’s market.

Idk if St, Louis would do that particular trade but I like the idea of getting Barbashev for the Lightning

Actually, I don't if that means another first round exit or anything short of the Cup finals for TML.

We would have to dump Scandella in another deal. Honestly I don't see Armstrong going for Mcdonagh tbh. Any big trade he has done has usually been targeting players in the 25-28 year old range. Plus we are tight on cap and having McDonagh for his age 33-37 seasons at 6.8 mil a year when we have to re-sign ROR, Tarasenko, Thomas, Kyrou, and Perron scares me tbh.

Still an overpayment, still too expensive for the Blues cap situation.

Blues just can’t afford it retain 50% and drop the picks

What if the picks went to a 3rd team for retention?
Each team paying a pick though.

They don't have to move him that bad though. I'm sure the Blues would be willing to do it maybe eveeboth picks.

I totally don't want Cirelli as a second line center. He has close to zero playmaking and scoring ability. You should start peddling some trades with him. Maroon shouldn't be scratched if you have Perry on a line tripping over his own skates.

They won't trade Cirelli until they have to but expect him to stay. Tampa's top 6 isn't lacking in playmakers don't necessarily need him to be one.

I think they need more out of the top 6 and the weak link is Cirelli on offense. Probably Kilorn in this senario. They probably will keep him Cirelli team seems to be in love with him.

It's because he was keep in helping them in winning the cup and that's all they care about, cup or bust. They don't care if they make it into the playoffs as the lowest seed wild card team, as long as they win.

All I care about is the Lightning winning the Cup, so I see the holes in his game. BriseBois cornered himself last year signing Perry and Bellmare to two-year deals and now can't put Cirelli and Kilorn on the bottom 6. Cirelli and Kilorn fit on a different team perhaps.

well killorn is probably getting traded if that makes you feel better. I don't think you are giving Cirelli enough credit for his defensive game, he also scored a big goal in the Toronto series.
