little is a bigger issue to the leafs than Mrazek since having him on LTIR actually makes it harder for them to manipulate the cap and would prevent them from banking any cap space for the deadline

How does having him on LTIR make it harder to bank cap space? It is a similar trade to that of Weber for Dadonov. Toronto, like Vegas, requires cap relief, and this will free up cap space.

it makes it impossible to bank cap space. You cannot bank cap space when you have players on LTIR. What LTIR lets you do is have a player on your roster up to and including the cap hit of the guy you have on LTIR over the cap. Vegas and tampa are doing it because they have to field their rosters and dont have the ability to simply move guys like holl or whoever for extra space. Their options are either trade a needed roster player or not be able to play with the cap. The Leafs are not in that boat

The number doesn't matter as much as the fact that nobody is accepting. And that obviously includes Marchment.

Add 2 mill to Tkachuk's contract and add Value to Calgary because they easily decline

Zero interest in Simmonds. Hakanpaa for Holl is a sideways move. Easy pass

The only piece that'd be of interest for the Devils when dealing Blackwood would be Sandin.
There's certainly no interest in the pieces you offered back here, nor is the value that fair to begin with.
