Both are pretty bad for the Jets. Trading both of their top 6 centers for an expensive LW and a bottom 6C, isn't good asset management.

Why would the Devils run with this? Trade a second overall for a guy hitting UFA in 2 years where you can't extend at the time of the trade? He doesn't fit the Devils needs who already have top two centers.
