That is an AWFUL trade for the Islanders. Wahlstrom is not being traded and certainly not for a rental who Arizona just got paid to take last year

Open up a spot for the kids, this trade could happen this year or the next but if they keep him they’ll be strapped

Skinner just scored 30 goals, and you’re crazy enough to think they have to give up a mid round first to move him? They don’t want to trade him, and he has a full no trade clause. They aren’t hurting for money and I don’t see them hurting for money anytime in the future.

The way the Kings roster is now structured after acquiring Fiala, we'd have to substitute Alex Iafallo for Brandt Clarke, and Arizona would probably prefer Alex Turcotte or Gabe Vilardi to Martin Chromiak. And because we're getting the Philly 2022 second, too, I think that the 2022 fifth becomes a 2023 second.

Open up a spot for the kids by taking away a 30 goal scorer that is a good mentor for the kids and the locker room? Makes no sense.

Lou isn’t stupid enough to make this trade, plus Lou doesn’t trade his own draft picks.

ONLY 11 NHL LW scored more goals than the 33 that Jeff did last year.
Krueger had him playing with line mates who could not keep up with him, Tuch and Thompson are capable of bringing out the best of Jeff.
There is absolutely no chance of Buffalo giving up assets to move him.
While the $9,000,000 is too high, it will only be a burden in his last year, and with high caps it may not be a problem at all.
