Another option might be Robidas. Had him in 1st, but felt the Leafs have enough money to pay Scuderi without getting rid of Robidas :-)

Ouch I know you want to get rid of him but wouldn't it be just more simple to bite the bullet this year throw him in the minors, get the 900K cap relief and just buy out the remaining year next off-season? Giving away picks just to rid yourself of 3M seems wasteful. Will Pittsburgh be that much more of a contender with that extra space? I don't think so. If he had like 5 years remaining that's a different story but 2? Not really worth depleting your already depleted prospect pool just to fix a slight annoyance.

Gents: The comments by Mr Peterman say hi to Elaine for me and Mr Marco are accurate. Robadias and Scuderi is a trade of soon to be ineffective defencemen with the same contract. Mr Marloc's trade could be adjusted to a Dman who is closer to NHL ready such as Percy, Hunwick or Granberg (though injured). Scuderi's exit must include pick/prospect as suggested by Mr Marloc.

This was a mere response to all those senseless Scuderi trade offers on here. I don't really care if Scuderi has a NTC or which player the Pens get in return. The only thing this shall show is that the Pens have to massively overpay on a prospect to get rid of Scuderi.
