I think this package without Beauvillier fits Friedman’s description of “ reasonably high 1st RD pick and another 1st RD pick and prospect, not a great prospect but a young player who could play and that wasn't enough to get it done" so I added Beauvillier. Not sure if it’s enough even still.

Wahlstrom has some nhl time under his belt so dont think he counts as a prospect. Take your choice of Beau/Wahl add Raty and the deal looks closer imo.

I dont think so either, just that it was closer to a deal. Still think that NJ is the best option. LA would have been fine too but they got fiala and I dont think theyre going after Cat anymore.
