Up front: Some of my comments will sound like nitpicking. That is not my intention. The Rangers current cap crunch translates to every $ counts. ------- Kappo - check -I think $2,25M will get it done if he opts to stay or the Rangers don't trade him. Tyler - check I've had him at $1.8M, $2M at most for 4 years. 5 years would be even better. He provides good value at that price for that length. I like Charlie too. I think there is real value here despite the sample size he has posted. I think $800K is appropriate here. I go slightly higher if that's what it takes. The only one that I think won't happen is Julien. I am not at all opposed to sending him to Buffalo, but the Rangers signed him to be "a cheap hole plugger in a pinch." 4 stars!!!
