Everyone is connected to TOR since they kick tires on a lot of people. I wouldn't get excited about it yet if you are hoping that he joins, especially if his ask is 6m from them.

I would get more excited if Colorado lets him walk to free agency, he would be an amazing fit in Toronto

Stars decline, have enough LHD with Heiskanen, Lindell, Suter and Harley. No need for Muzzin.

Wrong Pacific Coast team. Seattle will give you a fifth for Kerfoot. After the Fiala signing, we're down to $1 million per new forward, and he'd be taking the spot of Turcotte or the unsigned Grundstrom or Vilardi, whom we'd then have to move. Too much . . . monkey bidness . . . goin' on.

I’d try to get Nic Roy instead of Marchment, just cuz TOR needs a guy who can be ideally a matchup C.

How poetic to get that pick for Kinkaid to turn around and use it for Campbell’s rights. Sign me up.

He might be but could go terribly wrong too. Jfresh put up his old scorecard (which was terrible offensively) and mentioned that in Colorado's system, he benefitted from being able to be creative offensively. I don't know if he would have that freedom in Toronto.

Kerfoot is definitely worth more than a 5th, he isn't a cap dump.

They have almost the same system. There are few more comparable teams than Colorado and TO

Yeah, I think same system but he might not have the ok to do certain things that he was allowed to do in Col. The way I see Nylander play, sometimes it seems like he doesn't have the "ok" to do certain things, other times just his own disinterest.

I didn't say he is. He's worth at least a third, probably more. (The problem is that his cap hit is a little high for a rental. But if you keep him until the trade deadline, I'll bet you get at least the same return as Artturi Lehkonen got.) I'm just responding to the effort to send him here.

I personally don't think Matthews and Nichuskin would work, Bunting, Matthews, Marner we're great, I think the 2nd line could use a good defensive scorer, Tavares has had a couple meh years, and I think he could bounce back to the 45+ goal scorer he was with Nichuskin and Nylander.

50 point players making 3.5 and kill penalties is definitely not a cap dump. Thats just silly
