Very interesting. Expect a lot of 2-1 Preds games, and they'll win plenty of them, but maaaan that's a helluva contract to be using on a 3LD. Right after they gave 4x2m to flippin Lauzon. And with their top 2 RDs requiring nice raises next summer.

Just doesn't make any sense for NSH.

Hopefully they retain and flip him for some draft picks, but that's not gonna happen...

I’m a long time McDonagh fan, but I thought he looked pedestrian at best in the final. I fear he would s at the beginning of a big decline!!
