LAK need a LD (and have interest in Pettersson, per TFP), Pitt needs RD and wants to shed a LD.

Some variation of Pettersson for Durzi, with picks to even out the value, make a ton of sense to me.

Although, unless we trade Marino, I think that it would probably be smarter to trade Dumoulin rather than Pettersson

Every 5 minutes it's Pettersson for a 3rd to Detroit.

Rinse. Repeat. Rinse. Repeat.

Yzerman ends up not trading for Pettersson. Instead he acquires another defenseman. Pens fans begin convulsing and not knowing how to function. Screams can be heard from Pittsburgh....

king shouldn’t move durzi. Walker is the Rhd you say and Pettersson is the Lhd and a pick to balance the value some more. I’d pass if I’m kings on that deal

First of all there is a 0% chance Keith waives for Pitt, so this is hypothetical. But I just don’t think that’s enough to entice Pitt, who is trying to compete, Puljuarvi would probably be involved.

Walker hasn't played since October after a knee injury. Blocked a Dumba slapper with his face the year before and missed a few months. It's not worth the risk for 2 years at $2.65M
