Killorn likely has Winnipeg on his 16-team "no" list. Waiving for Nashville is not the same as waiving for Winnipeg.

Even if Killorn waived for Winnipeg they wouldn't be able to afford him.

Also, why trade him, and sign Burakovsky for two million more and a longer term? Why not just keep Alex?
