If the Islanders can't find someone to trade at least a late 2nd for Varlamov, I believe they would hold onto him and possibly try again at the deadline.

Leafs say yes immediately. Although, Friedge said they want to keep Varly now. But yes, we'll gladly do that deal.

The Jets are likely to pay Comrie more than that, and in the open market he could very well get twice that amount.
