That trade does literally nothing for the Pens.

Except move up in the draft, get a high 2nd, cap space, and a cheap two way forward. I’m a pens fan and 100% would do it

Move up 5 spots and give up their best defensive defenceman to do it. There are other ways to gain cap space than to trade good players.

You being a Pens fan and still thinking this is a good trade tells a lot about how much you lack a basic understanding of the team.

Pens need to move $ off their back end. I’d prefer to keep Marino and move Pettersson and Dumoulin, but I can’t see Sully letting Dumo go.

You’re asking a bit too much for for Marino imo
Moving up in the 1st has a good amount of value
And u want our best young defensive forward?
And u want a high 2nd?

No thanks imo

What if we throw in McGinn to fill defensive role? I’ve offered blueger in past with extension (cost a bit more) to create a Latvian checking line, but Pens fans are 50/50

Not even a little bit
We aren’t looking for a 3rd pair guy
We’re *potentilly* looking for a partner for Power
But if he’s not a significant upgrade on Jokiharju, then there just isn’t much point to it

Marino would be a guy i could see us interested in
Just think you’re asking too much

As far as Bluger goes, i could see us interested in him as well
But he’s a 4C, so we just wouldn’t give a whole lot up for him

Blueger can easily be 3C. He probably will be it this year for us too

Doesn’t matter to us bc he wouldn’t be a 3C here
We’re *potentially* looking for a guy to play 4C
We have Thompson, Cozens, Krebs & Mittelstadt already fighting it out for the 3 Center spots in our top9

You must have not passed grade 4 English if you can't detect the obvious hyperbole.

For something to be hyperbole, it LITERALLY has to be an “exaggerated statement. Yours wasn’t exaggeration, it was just LITERALLY wrong. Nice try though champ
